Jon McLeod, Co-ordinator, UK Property Communications

Jon is a regeneration specialist, with six years' experience as a Board Member of the country's best-performing regional development agency and 14 years' experience in property public affairs.

Jon leads the Property Communications Division within Weber Shandwick, a specialist unit which has been established to work alongside both private property companies and public sector organisations in all areas of property communications, from consultation and stakeholder engagement to corporate reputation management and media profiling.

Jon McLeod went into public affairs in 1994, having spent six years in financial and legal journalism. His specialisms include: community relations, stakeholder management and communications strategy. Clients counselled include the Duchy of Cornwall, the Crown Estate, Hammerson plc, Rosemound, Commercial Estates Group, Parkview International, Morrison Construction, Priory Hospitals Group, Central Railway, the South West Regional Development Agency, and numerous local authorities.

Jon has been a Board Member of the East Midlands Development Agency since 2000, with lead responsibility for communications, ICT, human resources and remuneration. He is a Council Member of the Nottinghamshire Learning & Skills Council.
