Jo Leah, Managing Director

Jo has over 20 years experience in communications and for the last 11 years has run Weber Shandwick’s operations in Manchester and now Leeds.

Prior to that Jo ran her own communications business for nine years which she sold to the Interpublic Group in 1997.

Jo’s experience covers extensive public information campaigns for clients including NWDA, Northern Rail, Government Office North West, Museums Libraries & Archives, and many more.  She has also been involved in award winning community consultation campaigns on behalf of place-making initiatives and specific developments.

Key skills on accounts include branding, strategic guidance, media relations and issues management.

Former Chair of the Public Relations Consultants Association, Jo is a trustee of Manchester Adoption Society, a member of Women In Property and The Manchester Publicity Association as well as being part of the business leadership team for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer charity.
