EC Harris Appoints Weber Shandwick As Retained Corporate Agency
EC Harris, the international built asset consultancy, has appointed Weber Shandwick to be its retained corporate public relations agency following a four-way competitive pitch.
Weber Shandwick will be responsible for maintaining and expanding EC Harris’ relationship with the top tier business media as well as developing a series of research led thought leadership programmes that will demonstrate EC Harris’ leadership in the built asset consultancy space both in the UK and internationally. Built asset consultancy comprises the strategic planning, creation and operation of property, infrastructure and related assets. The win sees Weber Shandwick add to its expanding portfolio of property clients which range from construction to development to consultancy.
The Weber Shandwick team will report into Andy Rowlands, newly appointed Group PR Manager at EC Harris. Speaking about the appointment, Andy said “We have ambitious plans for growth over the coming years, and enhancing our brand and reputation amongst key audiences is absolutely critical to this expansion. In choosing a corporate PR agency we wanted a team that demonstrated an understanding and passion for our vision to be the leading international built asset consultancy, as well as providing great ideas, sound strategy and a track record of delivery. During the pitch process Weber Shandwick displayed all of these qualities and more. I am very much looking forward to working with the team.”
Alex Brown, Co-Head of Financial Services at Weber Shandwick said “We’re extremely pleased to be working with EC Harris. They are leading the industry into a new way of thinking about property and we are delighted to be assisting them.
