Morgan Stanley, Costain, Airwave, Which? and the Town and Country Planning Association join Weber Shandwick debate on planning
Following the recent publication of ‘Open Source Planning’, the Conservative Party’s Green Paper highlighting their plans on fixing what they call Britain’s ‘broken planning system’, Weber Shandwick hosted a debate last week with Bob Neill MP, Shadow Minister for Local Government and Planning and Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party.
Those present, who broadly agreed that the current system was not delivering on the Government’s objectives, were given the opportunity to question Bob Neill on his Party’s proposals.
The group also heard from Sebastian Charles, a Partner with leading law firm K & L Gates and an expert on planning law, who welcomed the Green Paper but noted that it presented some fresh challenges that need to be addressed.
