Weber Shandwick named "Best Multinational Firm to Work For" in EMEA by The Holmes Report
Weber Shandwick was today named “Best Multinational Firm to Work For in EMEA” by The Holmes Report, as part of its annual “Best Public Relations Agencies to Work For” survey.
Weber Shandwick has one of the largest agency footprints in EMEA with 73 offices (wholly-owned and affiliates) in 57 countries. The firm works with many industry-leading multinational corporations and brands including Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Nespresso, Aldi and ExxonMobil.
In explaining this accolade, The Holmes Report cited that Weber Shandwick received high marks from its employees who noted they had confidence in the quality of management at the firm and within their office and practice areas; felt the leadership of the firm was respected within the industry and also scored high marks for its professional development efforts, which included more than 270 individual training courses last year, or 1.400 training days for employees in Europe.
“Overall, 2009 was a tough year for our industry. This award, based on direct feedback from our own staff, is a testament to them, our management team and the clients we partner with,” said Colin Byrne, Weber Shandwick’s UK & Europe CEO.
These awards continue to build on Weber Shandwick’s remarkable global award success from 2009, which includes a PRWeek UK Global Agency Report Card gold medal, being named “International Consultancy of the Year” at both the PRWeek Awards and the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) Awards, “Agency of the Year” at the European Excellence Awards, and receiving an inaugural Cannes Lion award.
