Pre-European Election Business Breakfast, 21 May 2009

Thursday 21st May sees Weber Shandwick hosting an exclusive breakfast briefing in anticipation of the upcoming European Elections.

Confirmed speakers include Timothy Kirkhope MEP, Leader of the Conservatives in the European Parliament, who will offer his views on the role of the European Parliament in tackling the economic crisis, and on the significance of June’s European elections for business. He will be joined by Baroness Sarah Ludford who has been London’s Liberal Democrat Euro MP since 1999. she is also a spokeswoman for the British Liberal Democrats in the European Parliament on Civil Liberties, Justice & Home Affairs committee and Vice-Chairwoman of the European Parliament’s Human Right’s Sub-Committee. They will both be joined in a panel discussion by Kevin McGrath, Labour candidate for London and a representative from the Liberal Democrats. 

Breakfast will be served from 7.30am with the speakers starting at 8.00am and the event concluding no later than 9am. It will take place at the Weber Shandwick offices at Fox Court, 14 Gray’s Inn Road, London, WC1X 8WS.
