Yatra Capital appoints Weber Shandwick Financial
Weber Shandwick Financial has been appointed as corporate and financial public relations adviser to listed Indian real estate investor Yatra Capital.
With over 27 million square feet under-development across nine cities and seven sectors, Yatra Capital was the first and is the only Euronext (Amsterdam) listed Indian-focussed property group. Yatra’s investments are managed by Saffron Capital Advisors, a leading Indian real estate fund management firm with substantive industry knowledge, understanding of local business customs, cultures and relationships.
Weber Shandwick Financial’s brief is to increase awareness of the company within the real estate, business and investment communities.
Domiciled in Jersey, Yatra Capital has one of the strongest boards and investment committees of any real estate group; fortunate to count Sir Nigel Broomfield, David Hunter, Malcolm King, Ajoy Veer Kapoor and Rohin Shah as non-executive directors.
“Since IPO in December 2006, the company has committed €220 million to high quality real estate investments with strong fundamentals and potential for value creation” comments Ajoy Kapoor, non-executive director of Yatra Capital.
“We are very pleased to have Weber Shandwick Financial on board as our PR partner, who we feel confident will deliver a comprehensive PR and IR programme to communicate Yatra’s unique strengths in Indian real estate investment.”
