Weber Shandwick Dublin scoops national Consumer Public Relations Award

Weber Shandwick’s Dublin office was crowned Consumer Public Relations category award winners last week at the 2008 Public Relations Consultancy Association (PRCA) Awards, for their work with Shelbourne Developments and The Chicago Spire.

Developed by Irish property developer Garrett Kelleher of Shelbourne Developments and designed by acclaimed architect Santiago Calatrava, the Chicago Spire is set to be the world’s tallest residential building and the tallest structure in North America upon completion.

Weber Shandwick devised a multi-tiered PR campaign to launch the Dublin leg of the international sales roadshow including the most talked about launch party in Dublin this year. Over 1000 people attended the four-day sales exhibition following the launch.

The annual PRCA Awards for Excellence are a highlight of the Irish PR calendar and provide entrants with an opportunity to showcase outstanding campaigns, demonstrating the value of communications.

Weber Shandwick Dublin is one of the leading agencies in Ireland for the number of national Excellence in Communications Awards it has received for its client work.  It has won 17 awards for excellence over the past ten years and been highly commended for an additional 13 campaigns.
