Weber Shandwick Consumer expands senior team
Weber Shandwick today announced it has bolstered its Consumer practice with the appointment of former JCPR (Jackie Cooper Public Relations) Director, Amanda Kiddle, as Director of its Consumer team. Kiddle will join the agency at the beginning of July and will report to Consumer practice Managing Director, Scott Wilson.
In her new position, Kiddle’s main areas of focus will include food and nutrition and brand reputation and responsibility. She will also take a leading role in digitalizing Weber Shandwick’s Consumer offering.
Kiddle joins Weber Shandwick after 2.5 years at JCPR where she headed the agency’s Leisure & Lifestyle practice area, working on a portfolio of FMCG, food and drink, sports and lifestyle brands including Stella Artois, Mars UK (snacks, confectionery and petcare), Shell UK and Vauxhall. During her time at JCPR, Kiddle led numerous high-profile campaigns including ‘Mars Believe’, the UK launch of ILVA, and the ‘Anchor Christmas Pudcast’, which was shortlisted in the 2007 CIPR Excellence and PRWeek Awards.
Prior to joining JCPR, Kiddle held positions at Band & Brown, Munroe & Forster and Starfish Communications.
Consumer practice MD, Scott Wilson comments: “I’m delighted to be welcoming Amanda to the team. She brings a wealth of Consumer experience across multiple sectors and, coupled with her strategic and creative background, she will be a benefit to both our current and future clients.”
