Weber Shandwick appoints Hamilton-Miller to part time non-executive director role
Journalist, commentator and former Conservative Central Office press officer, Tara Hamilton-Miller, is joining Weber Shandwick as a part-time non-executive director of its UK operations. She will work with CEO Colin Byrne and his senior team and provide public affairs and media relations insights and advice. Hamilton-Miller is a regular columnist with PRWeek and The New Statesman and has worked for The Sun newspaper and the BBC. She also works as a campaign and political consultant.
Commenting on her appointment, Colin Byrne said: “Tara is one of the brightest and freshest voices and minds to emerge onto today’s political and media scene. She will be a great asset to us and our clients, and a great addition to our top talent team. She will be able to provide valuable insights and advice to clients across our public affairs, corporate, strategic media and consumer spectrum. “
