Weber Shandwick UK & Ireland awarded 5 European SABRE Awards
Weber Shandwick, UK & Ireland, was awarded 5 European SABRE Awards last night at the 4th Annual European SABRE Awards Ceremony in Venice, Italy.
Client work honoured included; Sochi’s bid to host the 2014 Winter Olympic and Paralympic games, which received the accolade of Pan-European PR Campaign of the Year, and “The affordable affluence index” campaign for Royal Bank of Scotland, which scooped Best UK & Ireland Campaign.
Awards were also received for client work with Microsoft (Best Technology, Consumer Tech Campaign), Save Darfur Coalition (Best Non-corporate, Charities and Not-for-Profits Campaign) and IKEA (Best Consumer Services, Retailers Campaign), which was the only award given to an Irish-based agency on the evening and the first-ever awarded to a Northern Ireland agency in the history of the Awards programme.
The SABRE (Superior Achievement in Branding and Reputation) Awards have become established as the most sought-after awards in the global public relations arena, recognising the best programs in specific brand-building and reputation management across the United States, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
