Weber Shandwick Bolster Global Digital Team

Chris Perry named EVP, Digital Strategy and Operations; James Warren appointed Chief Creative Officer for Digital.

Weber Shandwick, one of the world's leading global public relations firms, today announced the promotions of two of its leading digital practitioners. Chris Perry, has been appointed Executive Vice President, Digital Strategy and Operations and James Warren been appointed Chief Creative Officer for Digital. They will both report to Gail Heimann, vice chair of the company. 

Perry, who is also the general manager of the company’s Southern California operations, is a true Web 2.0 champion, leading the agency’s efforts on high-profile, innovative campaigns including the recent Stand Up To Cancer and GM Next efforts.  He will be responsible for overseeing Weber Shandwick’s digital team, strategy and service offering around the world.

Based in London, Warren heads up the UK digital practice, and will work with the company’s global team to continue to provide compelling ideas for clients that deliver business results with the online communities that matter most to them. He has successfully worked with some of the firm’s largest clients advising on digital communications from blogging, podcasting, online community marketing, citizen journalism and new and emerging social media components.
